« We had a very nice stay at The Guides House and would not hesitate to book there again. The host was very accommodating and quick to respond when we reached out to him. The house was both clean and comfortable. We did have a little trouble with the lockbox but with a little perseverance were able to get it to work. A very positive experience. »

« The place was very clean and spacious. Very quiet and peaceful. The grill wasn’t great. There wasn’t a propane tank so we used the small coal grill. We were still able to make amazing meals. Most of the beds were very comfortable (the twin beds didn’t feel comfortable to sit on but no one used them to sleep on). Close to Old forge and was a great experience. »

« The property was clean, updated and perfectly located. It had plenty of room to relax in the large living room, a place to dine, a well appointed kitchen, laundry room and two bedrooms. The door on the smaller bedroom was a little problematic and didn't close correctly and it would have been nice to have a small lamp next to the bed for reading. Overall we were very happy with the property and will try to stay there again. »

« The house was very dirty upon arrival. All items such as kayaks and toys were all very old and dirty, no work was done upon arrival, floors were dirty, there was a bunch of cob webs in windows. We were told there would be toiletries and there was only half a roll of toilet paper provided. Back deck appeared as though furniture and deck hadn’t been properly cleaned and the bed sheets were dirty as well. Sadly very disappointed in our stay here. Pictures were not accurate at all.
